Allison Thewliss MP brings up Eyewitness at Amritsar to argue for an apology.

In a parliamentary debate about whether Britain should apologise for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, the SNP politician brought up authors Amandeep Singh Madra and Parmjit Singh.

Quoting a line from a poster in our book, Thewliss said:

'Those who sacrificed their lives for their country, live forever. Brutality crossed all limits at Jallianwala Bagh, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh—everyone cried in grief.'

She continued on, arguing that the subject should be taught in schools.
